There are sites such as Coursera.org, bfi.org, opensourceecology.org, equalitytrust.org.uk/why/evidence, rmi.org, khanacademy.org, zeitnews.org, etc.
These organizations and others operate under the acknowledgment of RECIPROCAL ALTRUISM. Which is the most superior form of selfishness since, we are all dependent on each other in synergy. The transition, per se, is gradual! In fact, one could say innovations in technology (e.g. the assembly line) have already put a tremendous dent into scarcity. If these organizations develop, we will implement more abundant, reliable and sustainable methods of education, production, and services. However, our current profit motive is a direct headwind because of it's dependence on cyclical consumption (scarcity, turnover, and sheer volume)! This is where the so-called awareness for altruism must cultivate a social movement.
The term is ACCESS ABUNDANCE! Scarcity is an obtuse assumption that doesn't take into account the possibility of strategic access; which is based on the most efficient use of technology at that time. There will be no tracking of consumption (money) other than surveys used for planning. In transition, hourly work schedules will dwindle naturally over time with a coinciding increase in wages...this is the inevitable progression for creating consumers in an automated economy. Meanwhile, 'access' is becoming more desirable than ownership---zipcars (soon to be self-driving), timeshares (multiple pooled locations), digital libraries, and sharing communities. Ownership is a colossal burden that people today only seek because of the current assumption of scarcity. Those that play this monopoly game will begin to waver as the lack of consumers continue to cripple these fallacious ambitions.
Today's economy is extremely ambiguous, meaning there are many variables to evaluate in any given case scenario. However, a system based on competition (monetary) will always have winners and losers and hence, tremendous anxiety for everyone involved (including the elite). With the emerging understanding that behavioral biology (see Robert Sapolsky's lectures) is based on several factors & that none of which are under ANY individual control, we can rule out the obtuse notion of free-will. Therefore, an ubiquitous infrastructure of access abundance should reflect the emerging culture of social consciousness.
Environmental pressures (Bio-psycho-social) affect our circumstantial motives. Progressively, we can appreciate more sophisticated motives of autonomy (skillful curiosity & creativity; without a judgment induced shame or anxiety), mastery (an efficiently reinforced pleasure, from honing skills) and purpose (the skillful fulfillment of a perceived hierarchy of needs).
Now then, artificial intelligence (Udacity.com) is now progressing exponentially due to the application of heuristics (hypothesis OR trial & error) as the only intellectual ideal with any merit. And NO, machines will not attack us because they will also acknowledge the superior selfishness of reciprocal altruism. AI is constantly being implemented and improved; gradually solving the dilemma of repetitive, mundane work! We can constantly improve our lives through technology as the concepts of TVP will then emerge in phases. Eventually, money will then cease to become relevant when we achieve social parity.
