Freedom, all or nothing baby!

if you want freedom, you have to approve of freedom, and that approval has to be universal. it has to cover every conceivable base…

the freedom to oppress others, the freedom to fight your opression

the freedom to preach religion, the freedom to ignore religion

the freedom to capitalize on harmful business practices, the freedom to destroy harmful businesses

the freedom to pursue meaningless endeavors, the freedom to find meaning where others see nothing

freedom to kill and maim and rape and pillage, freedom to maim and kill and rape and pillage in retaliation

freedom has to be completely free, or it is nothing, just a word to be thrown about to generate hope in a system that does not perpetuate the freedom it proclaims

but REAL freedom, TRUE freedom, is inherently responsible. a responsibility that comes from the freedom to learn. Learning about everything makes anathema those acts that are detrimental to the individual and society at large.
True Freedom, is mankind in it's most loving and caring semblance. This lip-service we are paying that freedom, is an insult to both that freedom and ourselves.

we judge people for judging people because judging people is wrong. we kill people for killing people because killing people is wrong. we hurt people for hurting people because hurting people is wrong. why can't we free people to free people because freeing people is right?
